11 am – Parade “Celebrating 250 Years of Freedom, Community, and the American Spirit.” The parade will start at the East Rogersville Baptist Church parking lot and will go west down Main Street. Contact parade organizer Melissa Nelson at 423-272-1961 if interested in participating.
Festivities continue in the park that afternoon with food trucks, bounce houses and the return of live music.
2:30 pm – Local band Pretty Penny will begin playing followed by Smith Creek and Ivy Road.
7:00 pm – Hooch, who also performed at the town’s New Year’s Eve celebration — will play.
8:30 pm – The headlining Odds and Ends will take the stage. This Surgoinsville band was formed in 1965 and includes Johnny Greer, Billy Greer, Alvin Case, Benny Wilson, John D. Brown, Ben Chambers, Bill Trent and Sammy Manis.
10 pm – Fireworks.
